New Super Mario Galaxy information via Famitsu translation
Someone just translated the Japanese text of the newest Famitsu magazine, and here's what it said about Galaxy -
*Peach is definately in the game, and like always she's in trouble and needs to be saved.
*All planets come in different shapes and sizes, and have various gadgets.
*It has been suggested that Rosetta will give Mario some special power, though it doesn't appear that she's Mario's new love interest.
*Once Mario grabs onto a Koopa Troopa shell, he'll be able to rapidly swim underwater.
*Torpedo Teds from Super Mario World seem to be returning.
*The shperes from the E3 demo that allows Mario to gravitate to them are called "Star Catchers".
*According to the mag, Mario will be able to unleash a special and powerful attack if he collects plenty of Star Pieces.

*The princess found in the new Super Mario Galaxy images is apparently called Princess Rosetta.
*Vispi Bhopti, Nintendo's PR and online coordinator for Nintendo of Australia, leaves the company and is going to now work at Sega of Australia.
*Famitsu gives Dewy's Adventure an 8/7/8/8 (31/40), It's a Wonderful World a 10/9/8/9 (35/40), Mario Party 8 an 8/7/7/7 (29/40), Simple DS Series Vol. 18 a 5/6/5/6 (22/40), Mame Goma a 6/5/6/5 (22/40), Taiko no Tatsujin DS a 9/8/8/8 (33/40), and Kidou Senshbi Gundam: MS Sensen 0079 a 7/6/7/6 (26/40).

ASH details from Famitsu
New ASH (upcoming Nintendo DS video game made by Final Fantasy creator) details have come in straight from Japanese magazine Famitsu. Good stuff here, so check it out.
*CG movies and voice overs will be feautured.
*Traditional simulation type RPG elements.
*Up to three people will be on your team.
*Battlefield fights take place on a traditional RPG setting.
*Strategy RPG portions include action points that are for groups, not single characters.
*First Nintendo DS video game to have a 2 Gigabit DS card.
*Field skills and support magic included.
