Video game companies being ignorant - Don't have any plans to attend E for All

A lot of video game companies apparently doesn't realize that E for All is the next E3... possibly even better! Well, according to firingsquad.com, Sony replied to a question saying that they have no plans to attend E for All... also, Microsoft is too undecided. Other companies who have decided NOT to go include SEGA, Midway, Capcom, and NCSoft.

However, have no fear - Plenty of great and notable companies are for sure going to attend, including Nintendo, Konami, EA, THQ, Namco and some others.

Castlevania: Order of Shadows announced for Mobiles

Konami just announced that they're bringing one of their most popular series to mobile phones with Castlevania: Order of Shadows. It'll feature a new storyline, including uniqe and new characters. They also state that it'll feature some innovative gameplay to top it off, which is obviously rare among mobile games.

The game is set to release on all major mobiles on September 18 of this year.

Awesome RPG Opoona... delayed

I'm sure many of you remember when Opoona was first announced a few months ago. Everyone was so excited for the quirkiness of the title... sadly, the game has been delayed in Japan, and will be released on November 1, 2007. Even worse - no release date has been announced for America, Europe, or Australia yet...

Leipzig 2007 - New Metal Gear Solid projects to be revealed at Leipzig

According to Play Magazine, Hideo Kojima will reveal some new Metal Gear Solid projects at this year's upcoming Leipzig event. Also confirmed - Metal Gear Solid 4 will be playable as well! Maybe they'll announce something big for a non-Sony console, though probably not!

MLB Power Pros announced for Wii and PlayStation 2

Konami and 2K Sports just announced that they're making MLB Power Pros for the Wii and PlayStation 2. The press release can be found below -

Konami has just announced that they are bringing the highly anticipated Dewy's Adventure in Europe on November 23rd of this year.

Metal Gear Solid 4 gameplay trailer

I haven't seen it yet. The laptop I'm currently using isn't the one I usually blog on, and thus it takes a while to load, so I'm currently just staring at the Konami logo, waiting. IGN says that it's outsanding, and that no matter what you WILL buy this game, so I'm expecting something huge!

Minor PlayStation news (July 17, 2007)

Since today Sony is having a rather large conference, plenty of news has been rolling in. The minor news of the show will be listed here.

*Square Enix announces that the Final Fantasy VII 10th anniversary PSP limited edition package will come with Crisis Core, an exclusive Buster Sword strap, and a limited edition Final Fantasy PSP for 25,890 yen. Square Enix will apparently only produce 77,777 of these consoles, so if you want one, get it when it comes out on 9/13 of this year.
*Konami announces Metal Gear Soild Porable Ops +, an expansion to last year's hit Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. The game will focus on online play, though the company is also adding a new single player mode called Infinity Mission.
