Straight from this week's Famitsu -

*First off, it seems like you'll take control of a group of butterflies, rather than a yellow blob... The goal of the game is to make the butterflies shout out "boo boo", which will in turn make the sleeping LocoRoco wake up and follow you.

*The game will be released in Japan on September 21 on this year via the PlayStation Network. No word on an American release date or pricing.

Apparently a LocoRoco sequel is also coming to PSP

Joystiq had an interview with some peeps at Sony, and they were able to confirm that, along with the upcoming downloadable LocoRoco game, a sequal will also be released on the PSP. No footage was released, sadly...
