More juicy Justice League movie rumors

The latest rumor has come in that says that the upcoming Justice League film will, rather than be live action, will be a motion capture film, such as the upcoming Beowulf movie is.

However, just take this with a grain of salt, seeing that no one has confirmed this yet.

Casting update for JLA movie

Apparently, casting for the upcoming Justice League of America film will start early next year. Reports are also saying that Brandon Routh and Christian Bale, the stars of Super Man Returns and Batman Begins (respectively), will not be in the film, though they will appear in the sequel to their movies.

While it was pretty much already confirmed a while back, Warner Bros. never officially announced it. Well, now they have, and the apparently already made script is being greatly praised by the studio. The company says that they want the film to be a launching point for The Flash, The Green Lantern (my favorite), Wonder Woman, and Aquaman.

They hope to get a summer 2009 release date.

McG to direct Maintenance

Here's another comic book to movie title. Charlie's Angels director McG will apparently be directing the upcoming movie Maintenance through his Wonderland Sound and Vision company. Rumor states that Warner Brothers may also help with the project as well. Apparently he wants the movie to have "action, comedy, and ground breaking effects", as Indiana Jones and Back to the Future did (two of my all time favorite movies).

Once more news on this is released, I'll report it.

Speed Racer game official (Almost Nintendo exclusive)

So it could be conclusive that there certainly would be a Speed-Racer video game to be released alongisde the upcoming, live action movie. But it's always good to get a confirmation, as well as some other details.

Warner Brothers Interactive have announced that a Speed-Racer video game will be released on the Wii and Nintendo DS when the movie comes out, and on the PlayStation 2 when the DVD is released.

Once more information on the movie, game, and the revived comic comes around, I'll post it.

So anyway, Microsoft just announced that from July 26 to August 7, they will allow their users to download Warnder Brothers game trailers, show panels, movie and TV trailers, celeb interviews, show exclusives, and customization themes for Xbox Live.
