ComicCon 2007 - Futurama information

In my opinion, Futurama is even better than The Simpsons. I can watch the episodes over and over, and while it may not be as great as South Park, it's still a great series. When it was announced that they'd bring the show back, I was filled with joy, and now one of the people working on the show announced that the first Futurama movie (which will go straight to DVD), will be released in November of this year.

And on the subject of Matt Groening (SP?) movies, I'll write a review on The Simpsons movie tomorrow, okay.

ComicCon 2007 - Spectacular Spider-Man TV series!

Earlier in the week we were able to get a glimpse of a teaser poster which showcased some popular Spider-Man villains and, of course, Spider-Man himself, webslinging through New York at night. Well, today Marvel revealed a 45 second clip of the up and coming series, though sadly it hasn't been released to the public yet.

According to sources, the trailer started out with the ever popular and totally overused line - "With great power, comes great responsibility". Next came some action sequences which featured Spider-Man beating up some robbers. Later on in the trailer, you apparently see Doc Oct's four tentacles spring out at Spider-Man, followed by references or images of Electro, Green Goblin, Vulture, Sandman, and of course - Venom.

O-M-G! Lucas Games just announced LEGO Indiana Jones the Video Game! Lego Star Wars was one of the greatest games of all time, so this is just huge information for not only fans of LEGO and Indiana Jones, but fans of gaming as well!

During the film shown, Indiana Jones was shown cracking his whip and shooting with his gun, not to mention swinging on cords, jumping over large gaps, and running away from the large boulder found in the film.

I'll post the new video of the game later, so stay tuned!

Currently, no consoles are announced yet.

ComicCon 2007 - The Sinner

A new comic book by horror writer Steve Niles has been announced and is called The Sinner. The book, according to the man himself, re-imagines super heroes. It'll most definitley have a much darker tone to the comic than most super hero series, so it should be interesting.

ComicCon 2007 Rumor: Upcoming Justice League film?

A "credible" rumor is stating that a man at Comic-Con was reading a script for an upcoming Justice League film. He didn't know whether ir was a live action movie or a cartoon, but I'm hoping for the former... of course if it's true!
