X-Men... Disassembled?

I'm sure every Marvel fan remembers the events that took place during Avengers Disassembled, where not only the Vision, Hawkeye, and Ant-Man II all died, but where the Avengers broke apart. Well, Marvel just revealed the above image to the world, with the exact same "disassembled" logo that the previously stated comic had.

Is this the end of the X-Men? Probably not, but isn't it just awesome to say?

Marvel Zombies custom made sculptures

These aren't going to be buyable at your local comic or hobby store, but are rather custom made Marvel Zombie sculptures made out of official toys from such series as Spawn (Thor), WWE (Namor), Cynder (Ms. Marvel/Warbird), Bizarro (Moon Knight), and others. Pretty cool, aren't they?

Wolverine: Orgins #16 sells out

While you may still be able to find it at a comic book store, Marvel has announced that every copy has left Diamond, the company's distributer. This appears to be the second one this week, after Marvel made the announcement that Halo: Uprising #1 ended up selling out in less than 24 hours.

Marvel Characters - Wolverine

Real name - James Howlett, usually goes by Logan
First appearance - Incredible Hulk #180\

James was born a sick child, though beyond that he was also born a mutant. He has the amazing ability to quickly heal from almsot any wound, some that would ultimately end most people's lives. He also has three sharp claws in each hand, which can slice through bodies.

After learning of this, James left his hometown, though never stayerd in one place for too long. While training and building up his strength, he took on the name Logan, leaving his old name behind.

Trying to create a serum similar to what was used with Captain America, the Canadian government kidnapped Logan and tested the serum on him, and he was then refered to as Weapon X. The government used Logan knowing of his amazing ability to heal himself, and thus they ordered tests that would kill normal men.

They scrambeled his brain so badly, and was deemed more animal than man, and Logan escaped. Logan then lived in the Canadian wilderness for many years, when a couple brought him in. They realized his power, and hoped that one day he would be on par with the American's Fantastic Four.

The man who took him in, Hudson, brought him to an alpha flight where he was given the nickname Wolverine. Soon later though, Professor X came into the scene and offered to take in Wolverine, knowing that he was a Mutant. Professor X takes in mutants, and he himself is one too. They call themelves the X-Men, and Wolverine is one of the most notable and powerful of all of them.

ComicCon 2007: Astonishing X-Men information

Well, the new team for Astonishing X-Men has been revealed. Check it out below -

Once the two talents write their first Astonishing X-Men comic together, it won't start back at #1, but will rather continue the story. The first of the comics should be released in the first quarter of next year.

ComicCon 2007 is nearly here, and new information regarding the upcoming event has come up.

*Marvel editors, creators, and special guests will discuss World War Hulk, Annihilation: Conquest, and anything else regarding Marvel!
*Marvel's Joe Quesada will reveal new information regarding your favorite Marvel characters and creators, and will reveal some surprising announcements as well. According to the press release: "You don't want to miss it!"

Wolverine director announced.

Gavin Hood, known for winning the foreign language film Oscar for 2005's Tsotsi, has just been announced to direct the upcoming Wolverine movie (a spin-off of the original X-Men films), which as in the three X-Men movies will star Hugh Jackman.
