We've known this for a while, though it's now official that they're doing it... So here's the beef - DC Comics (my second favorite comic company, coming short only to Marvel), has announced that they're creating a World of Warcraft comic book based off of the PC video game of the same name.
The comic will debut in the fall of this year, and will be written by Walter Simonson (Thor), and will be drawn by Ludo Lullabi and inked in by Sandra Hope.
Surprisingly, Blizzard's very own Samwise Didier will create the covers for the first six issues along with Jim Lee. Each of the six issues will feature two covers.
In their press release, they revealed that art of the comic would be shown at this upcoming ComicCon which will be in three days!
With Marvel's Halo Uprising and now this, it seems like video games are becoming popular subjects within the comics universe!
