Nintendo Characters - Bowser

Bowser is probably one of the better known antagonists in the video game industry. He's appeared in countless Mario games as the main enemy and on some occasions one of Mario's teammates. His first battle with Mario was when he was an infant - Yoshi and a baby Mario eventually defeated the brat, though it would not be the only time that the two would meet. Their first major fight was in the events that took place in Super Mario Bros. - Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach as she is the only one able to reverse Bowser's dark magic which he cast upon all the Mushroom Kingdom's residents, thus turning them into stone, bricks, and even mushrooms. Mario defeated the enemy and saved the princess at the end of the game, though soon later Bowser had more plans to rule over the kingdom.

He has a devilish appearance, and while he may seem frighting compared to the other characters in the Mushroom Kingdom, he's actually not too bright, and really is clueless when it comes to trying to take over a kingdom.

Nintendo Characters - Samus Aran

Throughout her life, Samus Aran has had many traumatising events happen to her. When she was nothing but a child, her planet was attacked by Space Pirates, and she ended up being the sole survivor. Alone and afraid, some Chozo (a completeley differnt species) took her in and cared for her on the planet Zebes. While in the hands of the Chozo, she was enjected with their blood, and was (once an adult) given a powerful suit of armor that was crafted by the species. The suit would obviously prove useful later on in her life when she would be pit against powerful enemies.

For years she worked for the Galactic Federation, though she simply quit one day and became a bounty hunter, and was deemed a major enemy of the evil group of Space Pirates who, as formerly mentioned, destroyed almost everyone on Samus' planet except her.

Over the years, she became one of the greatest and best known bounty hunters of all time, taking down feared enemies who terroized and killed countless species.

NOT YET FINISHED!!!

Nintendo Characters - Link

Link is the name of multiple different characters who appear in The Legend of Zelda series. The name is default, and you can change it, though in spin-off titles such as the Smash Bros. series, it will always be Link.

Each of the Links featured in the multiple different games are the hero of time who's destiny is to save Hyrule, or some other area. He is a master weapon user, being able to efficiently wield and use swords, bow and arrows, boomerangs, magical wands, and many more. Usually his main antagonist is Ganondorf, who craves nothing more than to rule over Hyrule. While princess Zelda represents Knowledge, and Ganondorf power, Link represents courage.

More than often Link appears as nothing but a mere child who knows nothing of his destiny at the beginning of the game. In Ocarina of Time, all of the other children in his village tease him for not having a fairy, though often times, most notably in Twilight Princess, people deeply respect Link for his couragious efforts to help the entire village out.

RUMOR - Batman: The Ride for Six Flags Fiesta Texas?

Rumors are saying that Batman: The Ride peices from Six Flags: New Orleans have been seen over at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which more than likley indicates a new Batman ride for the park. What are my opinions on this? Usually I'd say something to this scale would be bogus, though the fact that many people are reporting the same thing, and spotting Batman: The Ride tracks, I'd say this is very probable. However, you also have to take into consideration that Sea World: Texas (which was a pretty cool park IMO) has a coaster just like it, and that the closest Six Flags park to Fiesta Texas (which is five hours away apparently) already has a Batman: The Ride.

Once more information on this subject get out, I'll report it.

Nintendo Characters - Yoshi

First game - Super Mario World
Yoshi is a green dragon/dinosaur that first appeared in Super Mario World. He played as the game's sidekick to Mario and Luigi, and soon became a series favorite. He added plenty joy to the games, and received plenty of fans. Soon later he got his own series, generally known as the Yoshi's Island series or just plainly the Yoshi series.

Yoshi is not just the name of a character, though is also the name of the species he is. The majority of them live on Yoshi's Island, though some have been spotted on Delfino Isle and other areas. Mario first met the species when he was just an infant - Yoshi saved Mario and his brother Luigi from death, and brought them back to their parents. Years past, and then one day many years in the future when the twins were adults, they met the species again and not only saved their species, but also the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom - Peach.

Yoshi is noted as being one of the most original Nintendo characters - His abilities are simply outstanding for being nothing more than an animal - Probably his most significant ability is to eat almost anything his size (sometimes even bigger), and transform whatever he ate into an egg, which happens be an awesome projectile that can kill most enemies. He also has a long, sticky tounge similar to what a toad has, though is much stronger in what it can take in. His flutter ability allows him to jump far in the air. Yoshi has genneraly been accepted as the first character to use the ground pound attack, which to this day is a popular ability in many games.

Nintendo Characters - Mario

First game - Donkey Kong (under the name of Jumpman)
Mario is noted as not only one of the most popular video game characters of all time, though frankly one of the most popular characters of time. His recognizable and lovable appearance is known throughout the world, and his video games, while cartoonish in appearance - deliver some of the best game experiences of all time.

Mario's life began in trauma - Once the stork was bringing Mario and his twin brother Luigi to their parents, Kamek the evil magikoopa looked into the future and forsaw that the Mario brothers would cause great distress to Bowser, whom at the time was just an infant. He rushed over to where the stork was, and grabbed Baby Luigi right out of its clutches. Mario fell toward the ocean, and Kamek understandably came to the conclusion that he would drown. However, a small island was in the middle of the ocean, and right before he landed, a strolling Yoshi saw him and saved him before he hit the ground. The Yoshi agreed to find his brother and bring the duo back to their parents.

Years later, as an adult, Mario and his friends go on multiple adventures, mostly saving the kingdom and often times the world. On many occasions the mission is too hard for one man to take on, so his friends help him out.

The main threat to the Mushroom Kingdom, and often times the Mushroom World is the evil Bowser. While he may not be the brightest, his army that he has created is bigger than any other.

Others have also threatend the world, and on some occasions the universe (such as in Super Paper Mario). However, Mario always seems to be victorious, thankfully...

At this year's Quake Con, id's CEO announced that Castle Wolfenstein, which was previously announced for the 360 and PC, will be coming to the PlayStation 3...

WoW's second expansion confirmed

Earlier in the week, word got out that World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was going to be the next installment in the overlly popular World of Warcraft series. However, Blizzard hasn't confirmed it until now... Here's what Wired had to say on their blog about the title -

The playable demo consisted of one of the game's starting areas, the Howling Fjord. As its name implies, this verdant, ice-touched land is literally riven across the middle, and it's surrounded by cliffs on all sides. The look of the place is stark and brutal, and it's easily one of the most beautiful zones in the game (though, to be fair, I may just be enamored by its novelty). There a single instanced dungeon in the Blizzcon version of the zone: Utgard Keep, a citadel inhabited by a race of 13-foot Viking dudes called the Vrykul. I managed to coax some of the buddies into run the instance with me, but we only got as far as the first boss: a necromancer dude who hurled shadow bolts with wild abandon, summoned grips of skeletons, and froze unwary party members solid for 20 seconds at a time. Needless to say, he mercilessly pwned us.

Pre-order Halo 3! At... 7-Eleven???

It'll seriously be hard to even pre-order a copy of Halo 3 anywhere! If you've failed to do so at your local Gamestop or Best Buy, then head over to 7-Eleven. Why? Because they're apparently taking pre-orders of the game... TODAY! Yes, I've never seen a gas station do this before either, though they mysteriously are! According to some, once the PS2 came out, Seven Eleven was selling them...

Marvel Characters - The Thing

The Thing is part of the Fantastic Four, and has incredible strength. During the drastic crash that would change all four people's lives for ever, Ben Grimm (the real name of The Thing) seemed to have had the most dramatic change in appearance - While everyone looked virtually the same in their regular form, Ben Grimm always looks like a large orange walking rock mass.

For a long time, Grimm trusted in Reed Richard (the man who created the ship), who promised that he could find a cure to his appearance.

Very few characters in the Marvel universe have such a popular and well known appearance as The Thing.

Ultimate Thing
In the alternate Marvel universe known as the Ultimate Universe, the Thing, as most other Marvel characters, make an appearance in a large way. In the series, Ben was Reed's friend as a child, and in turn for helping him study, Ben kept Reed safe from bullies. He became The Thing once Victor (Dr. Doom) changed the coding to a machine that would transport an apple to a different city. He made a miscalculation, and a mistake was made when the four of them were near. They were all transported to different areas in the world, and their abilities were soon revealed.

Microsoft proves their evilness by, well, just read...

"Microsoft has now officially responded to an Illinois family's lawsuit in which a fire was allegedly caused by a faulty Xbox console in December of 2004. The fire resulted in the death of an infant, Wade Kline. According to the lawsuit, the fire was caused by an overheating power supply, which became so hot as to start the deadly fire. Microsoft, in response, has stated that the fire was wholly the responsibility of the family, and that it was the result of "misuse or abuse" of the console in question. Furthermore, Microsoft claims that the fire was the result of an "obvious" condition of which the family was aware. Considering Microsoft did not recall power cords until February of 2005 (on account of fire concerns) we're not sure to what obvious condition Microsoft is referring. Microsoft is asking that the case be dismissed and that the Kline family pay the company's legal fees." - Xbox360fanboy.com

Marvel Characters - Invisible Woman

Susan Storm Richards is one of the most valuable Fantastic Four members as she can 1. Turn invisible, 2. Generate a force field around her or others, and even 3. Fly through the air by projecting force fields underneith her. She became the Invisible Woman after, along with her brother Johnny Storm, her husband Reed Richards, and friend Ben Grimm, got exposed to cosmic radiation while trying to travel to different solar systems. Ultimately their plan failed, though they did obtain amazing powers which would greatly help them save humanity.

Soon after marrying Reed, she became pregnant, and then gave birth to their first child, Franklin Richards.

Later on in following those events, Reed was seemingly killed by Doctor Doom, and Susan took his place as leader of the Fantastic Four. During this time, Namor, the Sub-Mariner, was rejected by Susan after trying to go out with her.

Later on, when it was found that Reed was still alive, the two of them got together once again, and Reed took over the team.

Marvel Characters - Human Torch

The Human Torch (Johnny Storm) is one of the members of the Fantastic Four, and is the brother to Susan Storm Richards. He has the ability to engulf his body in flames by will without being burned, and can also fly by using his fire as a boost.

He became the Human Torch after, along with Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Susan Storm (Invisible Woman), and Ben Grimm (The Thing). However, the trip went awry - The cosmic radiation drastically effected the ship, and they had to turn around. Once they arrived back on Earth, the whole team found out that they had super power abilities, Johnny's obviously being fire.

The Human Torch is assumingly named after the Marvel hero of the 40's of the same name. His trademark quote is "flame on!", which he bellows every time he goes in flames.

One new Wall-E image!

Well, there you go, one new image of the upcoming Pixar movie Wall-E!

Marvel Characters - Mr. Fantastic

Mr. Fantastic (real name Reed Richards) is one of the first super heroes that Marvel created in the sixties when they decided to create superhero comics once again. He's the leader of the Fantastic Four, and has the ability to shapeshift - most notably being able to stretch to great lengths.

As a child, Reed was able to show off his brilliance when it came to solving math problems, and doing mechanics and physics.

At college, he met many people that would make a dramatic impact on his life. First is Victor Von Doom, who was Richard's roomate. Doom hated Reed the moment he met him, and requested to get a different roommate. Victor would later in life become the Fantastic Four's greatest enemy as Doctor Doom. Reed's next roommate was Benjamin Grimm, who would later be known as The Thing.

In college, Reed came up with a ship that would be able to travel to different solar systems. Once he transferred to Columbia University, he rented a room who's landlord had a daugter named Susan Storm. Susan ended up falling in love with Reed, and they eventually got married. Beyond that, Susan Storm is Invisible Woman, and her brother, Johnathon Storm, is the Human Torch.

He turned into a super hero once he, Ben, Susan, and John went into the ship he designed, the cosmic radiation that resulted was too much for them, and they had to turn back. The radiation ended up giving each of the people their amazing powers.

MORE COMING SOON!

Marvel Characters - Thor

Thor is the powerful god of thunder who is the son of Odin. His father comes to the inclusion early in age that Thor needs to learn humility, and thus places him in the body of a human being (Donald Blake) on planet Earth. The doctor soon later finds Thor's hammer realizes later that he has the power to change into Thor and back again (for those who don't quite understand, it's sort of like how Roland from the Dark Tower series can change into Eddie by going through the door in the second book). Only much later will the real Donald Blake be able to return to his body, when Odin is satisfied with what Thor has become. The events that Thor had to go through made him an honorable, exalted and respected warrior.

Thor is also the son of the Earth Goddess Gaea, and thus Thor feels obligated to defend the planet and its people. While on Earth, he battles fierce villains including the Absorbing Man and the Enchantress. The main antagonist of the series is ultimately Loki, Thor's evil brother. However, Loki is quite genius, and even convinced the Silver Surfer to attack the thunder god, among others such as Ulik and Fafnir. Thanks to Loki though, the Avengers were formed - Loki used the dangerous Hulk to make Thor come out, and following this the Avengers were formed. Thor is one of the main and notable members and founders of the amazing team.

In the second volume of Thor, the god of thunder takes the throne of Asgard, and once he negativly looks at the Earth's people, he reshapes it in his own vision of what the world should be. After a battle is ensued because of this, guilt is thrusted toward Thor, and he resets Earth back to the way it was.

Ganondorf and Sheik pretty much confirmed for Brawl!

Here's what Twilight Princess director Eiji Aonuma said about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl in a recent Game Informer interview-

GI: Have you been consulted at all for the usage of Link or Sheik or Ganondorf for Smash Bros. Brawl?

Aonuma: I’ve been working with Sakurai for a very long time with this new Smash Bros., because the Wii came out and when discussion for a new Smash Bros. took place nobody could think of anyone other than Sakurai working on it. He was kind of the default, and I was very happy to hear that he would be working on it. Actually, my designers did work on the designs for Sheik and Link and Ganondorf. So they submitted the initial designs, and so it would fit in the Smash Bros. Brawl environment, they’ve had to tweak some of the designs. But Sakurai has brought those altered designs to NCL. We’re working very closely with the team of Smash Bros. Brawl to make sure the characters look their best.

Two new Dragon Quest IV, V, and VI DS scans.

Enjoy!

3 new Too Human images

Well, there you go, three new images of Too Human for the Xbox 360!

New National Treasure: Book of Secrets info

I really didn't care for the first film. It mave have been fun, though it was obviously not a good movie. I fail to see why Disney felt like they should make a sequl, though they are... and guess what - the plot is even more pathetic then the *sort of* understandable plot that was featured in National Treasure... here's how it goes -

Apparently Benjamin Gates (John Bla... errr, I mean Nicolas Cage) finds out that one of his ancestors was a co-conspirator in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. This leads him to find out about the "Book of Secrets", which apparently is a book that every president has that lists all the secrets that the government doesn't want anybody to know about, includeing the JFK assassination conspiracy, the contents of Nixon's 18-minutes gap in the Watergate tapes, and... Area 51...

Well, if you thought it couldn't get worse... just know I haven't gotten to the bad part yet - According to the trailer shown at Comic-Con, Gates kidnaps the president so he can get his hands on the "Book of Secrets".... yah, smooth move.

Polls closed!

And as I expected, Brawl one! So, I'll be putting the new one up in just a bit, though I've got to decide what I want it to be about first!

Smash Bros. Update - What is the Supspace Emissary?

Wow, I really didn't expect this to happen. Apparently the new adventure mode will be an entire sidescrolling game! From what I've seen in the images, it seems like there will be sweet new enemies, though I've also spotted Bullet Bills (and Fox fighting a Hammer Bro, though if anything it's just an assist trophy). The director also revealed that in between the main game are short little movies, images of which can be seen below -

You can pretty much come to the conclusion that Peach will be a playable character!

Here we have Pit fighting those Modea creatures.

Where do you assume Samus is? Possibly Snake's place?

Yoshi and Link looking at the oncoming Halberd.

Who's that glowing princess? I'd say Palutena from the Kid Icarus series, wouldn't you?

Fox getting shot at by the Halberd it seems.

Even though the movie shots were enough, he gave us seven, in game images of teh Supspace Emissary! -

Blacksite: Area 51 delayed a few months.

Apparently people are saying that the game wasn't entirely good from what they've played, so Midway has delayed the game for about two months. It was originally going to be released in September, though the company just announced that it will be released in America on November 5th, and on Octover 26th for Europe.

Marvel Characters - The Hulk

Real name - Bruce Banner
First appearance - Incredible Hulk #1

As a child, Bruce Banner lived in a family with a malevolent father who killed his mother. Because of this, Bruce developed a multiple personality disorder. As an adult, the government took in Bruce so that he could create weapons.

While serving the government, he created a bomb called the Gamma Bomb. On testing day, a teenager named Rick Jones went onto the site after being dared, not knowing that the bomb was going to go off. In act of heroism and bravery, Bruce raced and got Rick to saftey, only to be exposed to the bomb, which shot gamma radiation into every atom in his body.

He somehow made it out alive, probably because he wasn't close enough to be fully effected by its true power. Despite being in pain, the doctors found nothing wrong with him, and he was deemed alright - thought what they didn't know is that the most powerful and ultimately dangerous creature on the planet was just waiting to be released.

This creature could only be released when Banner felt rage or hate toward anything. The beat he would transform into, which was called the Hulk, is virtually indestructible, being able to survive almost anything that gets shot at him, including nuclear bombs. He is also one of the strongest living things - In one issue of Secret Wars, he was reported to hold up onne hundred and fifty billion (yes, I said BILLION, not million) tons, and was also able to smash right through an asteroid which was coming straight toward earth.

However, despite being considered a hero sometimes, he is also noted as being a villain - When Banner turns into the Hulk, he almost becomes a different being - The Hulk is incredibly stupid and has no real control over what he does, and has often times killed hundreds of people...

Recently, a team of super heroes shot Banner into space. The spaceship crashed onto a planet and killed millions of alien beings. The Hulk became extremeley angry and more powerful then ever, and also obtained the ability to think as Bruce does, thus having full control over his actions, and thus would be guilty over the damage he has caused.

Marvel Characters - Wolverine

Real name - James Howlett, usually goes by Logan
First appearance - Incredible Hulk #180\

James was born a sick child, though beyond that he was also born a mutant. He has the amazing ability to quickly heal from almsot any wound, some that would ultimately end most people's lives. He also has three sharp claws in each hand, which can slice through bodies.

After learning of this, James left his hometown, though never stayerd in one place for too long. While training and building up his strength, he took on the name Logan, leaving his old name behind.

Trying to create a serum similar to what was used with Captain America, the Canadian government kidnapped Logan and tested the serum on him, and he was then refered to as Weapon X. The government used Logan knowing of his amazing ability to heal himself, and thus they ordered tests that would kill normal men.

They scrambeled his brain so badly, and was deemed more animal than man, and Logan escaped. Logan then lived in the Canadian wilderness for many years, when a couple brought him in. They realized his power, and hoped that one day he would be on par with the American's Fantastic Four.

The man who took him in, Hudson, brought him to an alpha flight where he was given the nickname Wolverine. Soon later though, Professor X came into the scene and offered to take in Wolverine, knowing that he was a Mutant. Professor X takes in mutants, and he himself is one too. They call themelves the X-Men, and Wolverine is one of the most notable and powerful of all of them.

Marvel Characters - Captain America

Real name - Steve Rogers
First appearance - Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941)

First appearing in 1941, Captain America is one of the first characters that Marvel ever created, and certainly the oldest character that to this day is still popular. The captain has enhanced strength thanks to a super soldier serum that the United States government enjected into him in hopes of being able to create a super soldier. It was a success. However, a nazi (note that this takes place in the 40's) spy found out about this new serum, and the opposing forces destroyed the testing area, making it clear that Steve would be the only human that would be enjected with the serum. Many people in the future tryed to duplicate the serum, though they usually end in failure.

Well, back in the 40's, Captain America and his team member Bucky Barnes have had many successful victories, defeating enemies including the Red Skull. Now they were set to go on a mission to seize Baron Zemo, who stole a British plane to escape. Both Captain America and Bucky lunged onto the plane, though Steve slipped off of it and fell down into the icy cold water, seemingly killing him. Bucky stayed on, though the plane self-exploded, thus killing Cap's partner.

Far into the future, the Avengers are searching for Namor, a man who lives under water, who also helped Cap way back when. While searching for their enemy, they come across Cap's frozen body, and brought him out of the water. While in the water, he did not age. When brought back onto land, they were miracuously able to revive him back to life.

Confused and trying to get acustomed to this new way of life, Steve accepted the Avengers' offer to join their team, and soon became one of the greatest heroes of this era, just as he was back in the 40's.

However, once all super heroes were required to join the government and let everyone know who they were, cap and a gang of other super heroes went underground, and after years of being in a seemingly unbreakable bond, Steve Rogers became Tony Stark's (Iron Man) greatest enemy for not obeying the law.

At the end, Steve Rogers understood, after causing great destruction with a large super hero fight, that he deserves to go to jail. Soon later, after going to another jail, he was shot and killed.

Marvel Characters - Spider-Man

Real name: Peter Parker
First appearance: Amazing Fantasy #15

Prior to the events that would change his, and his families' lives for ever, his parents died in a plane crash when he was just a kid. Once the event happened, his aunt May and uncle Ben took care of him. Peter Parker was a fifteen year old kid when he was bit by a radioactive spider that gave him amazing abilities. Within just a few hours after he was bit, he found out that he was able to climb up walls, among other abilites as well.

With these powers, he started to go into show buissness to show them off, and also created a costume as well. One night after a show, a burglar was fleeing, and the security guard asked him to stop him. Peter did nothing, and the criminal got away. Soon later the man that got away killed Peter's Uncle Ben. Knowing this, Peter felt terrible guilt, and swore to use his powers to fight crime.

About the same time that Peter obtains his spider-abilities, super criminals are on the loose and are causing havok, including Doctor Octopus, The Vulture, The Green Goblin, and even Fantastic Four baddy Doctor Doom.

Also with his abilities, he is able to take outstanding pictures of himself while battling enemies, which he sends into the Daily Bugile for big bucks (however, no one knows his true identity at this time, and he claims that he's just a good friend of Spider-Man).

During the series' history, Spider-Man married Marry Jane, and also became one of the world's best known super heroes. In the real world (you know, the one that you and I live in), he has been deemed as one of the most popular super heroes, and as Marvel's official mascot.

POWERS
Spider-Man has trully uniqe and original powers that are no part of the cliched abilities that most super heroes have (i.e. Flying, Elastability (sp?), shapeshifter, ect...). Some of his more notable abilities include being able to climb up walls, shoot out webbing, which he can use to swing all over town, grasp onto enemies and pull them in, trap people, and more. His spider-sence allows him to sence oncoming projectiles, enemies, cars, pretty much anything. He also has increased strength, speed, and agility.

EA cuts online support for almost fifty of their games!

EA has just announced that they are cutting online support for 49 of their games, many of them which are for the 360 and PSP. However, it's not like this is the first time this has happened. When ever a sequel to one of the games I'm about to list comes out, they always cut the online for that game. However, one game - Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, is also being canned, though this is probably in response to the recently announced EA/Marvel fighting game which was revealed at Comic-Con.

Take Two announces that GTA IV has been delayed...

So everyone thought that this year would, quite possibly, be the biggest year in the history of video games, period - We've got Super Mario Galaxy, Halo 3, BioShock, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, and Grand Theft Auto 4... wait, scratch that last one, because Take Two just announced that they are delaying the game, and that it won't be released until 2008. The game was originally going to be released in October of this year, though, well, you know, it's not...

Marvel Characters - Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man)

Nick Name: Iron Man
Real Name: Tony Stark
First Appearance: Tales of Suspense #39 (March 1963)

Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist who happens to be one of the most recognized super heroes of all time. While young, his parents whom started the company died in a car accident. Once he turned 21, he took over the company, and while observing the Vietnam War (later the Gulf War) to see how he could be of assistance, he was badly injured when a piece of shrapnel almost plunged right through his heart. He was then captured by the opposing army.

With the help of a prisoner, the two of them developed the first Iron Man armor, which was originally silver rather than red. He escaped the wretched place, though only with the help of the other prisoner, who sacrificed his life so that Tony could escape safely.

Once he arrived back to the Americas, he developed better and more advanced armor, most notably the red and yellow armor (as well as its many variations). For a while Tony claimed that Iron Man was his body guard, not telling the world that he was in fact the man behind the metal mask. The hero mostly just fought threats to his own company, though would soon later save others rather than just saving Stark Industries.

Later on, Tony comes to realize that he's addicted to alcohol. It really took off once he found out that the national security agency S.H.I.E.L.D. has been buying interest in his company. Another time he succumbed to alcohol was when a series of attacks from villains were issued by business rival Justin Hammer.

However, things eventually blew over, and Tony's view on things started to change - First he halted all sales that would go to the army, and then started multiple foundations that would be charitable. Soon later he was one of the founders of the Avengers, and with one of the richest men in the world on the team, their financial problems would be easily solved.

Powers
His amazing Iron Suit allows the playboy to have increased strength and durability. His jet boots allow him to fly, and he is also able to shoot out lasers from his hand. He has a large weapon on his chest that will greatly harm his enemy.

CITIZENS

Comic reviews - Thor #2, The Gunslinger Born #7, World War Hulk #3

Gunslinger Born #7

This is it! The final comic in the seven part Gunslinger Born series. Each issue so far has been amazing... probably the best Marvel has had to offer in the past couple of years. The last issue ends with a bang with the final and epic battle. The writing feels just like a Dark Tower book, despite the fact that it's not written by Stephen King. The artwork is just how I imagined it to look like while I read the book years ago. While it was sad to see the series come to an end, it's great to see that they're going to start a new Dark Tower comic series in February 2008!

Score: 10/10

World War Hulk #3

Recently this five part series has been getting a criticism. While this issue is a pretty good book, I just felt like I've seen the exact same battles before - All Hulk does is smash, smash, smash. Despite this, they somehow manage to jam a whole bunch of text in there, which is pretty enjoyable. It was great to see Doctor Strange, and was quite nail biting once he encountered the Hulk. Also revealed is that Sentry will probably be fighting Hulk... This is something I'm in no way excited for, unless Hulk rips right through the hated hero... man thad't be cool...

Overall, if you're somehow able to find the issue, then get it. It's longer than most of comics out right now, though the down side of this is it costs a buck more as well. The art may not wow you at all, though the writing is pretty good...

Score: 8/10

Thor #2

The last issue, while good, seemed to be quite short for a debuting issue, and beyond that it had very little dialogue. While this issue seems to be a little longer, the text issue is still here. Thankfully, they have a good writer, though I just couldn't help but notice that I was zooming through the issue. The art is some of the best Marvel has to offer right now, and while the story may seem to go a little slow, it's still pretty good.

Score: 8/10

Futurama: Bender's Big Score's release date announced!

So earlier last month at Comic-Con it was revealed that the new, DVD only Futurama movie would be released in November. Well, now it has an official date - November 27, 2007.

Also, here's some story info right from Fox -

"As Xmas 3007 approaches, the Futurama crew must fight to save Earth in an epic battle against nudist alien Internet scammers. When the evil naked aliens launch a cyber-attack on Planet Express, they make a shocking discovery: the secret of time travel, mysteriously tattooed on Fry's buttocks. Using their devious nudist software to control Bender, they repeatedly send the beer-fueled robot back in time to loot Earth of its greatest treasures. Bender's rampage through history has shocking repercussions when he encounters Al Gore (guest-starring as himself) during the 2000 Presidential recount. Meanwhile, Leela finds true love, a beloved crew member suffers an embarrassing decapitation, and Fry learns deep secrets about his destiny and his buttocks."

People claim that Resident Evil 5 racist becasue you shoot black people...

Here's what's totally messed up with this - In everyother Resident Evil game, you kill white people, yet when you start to shoot black people, then the world goes nuts. Don't get me wrong - I'm in NO WAY racist, and I think you're a total retard if you are, though this is going a little bit too far...

Also, the game takes place in Africa, and if you didn't know - MOST PEOPLE IN AFRICA ARE BLACK!!! For christ's sake.

Smash Bros. Updates - Ike, Castle Siege, Pitfall

Since I haven't been here for the past three days, I haven't been talking about all the new information that has been revealed via the Brawl website. Well, here's the beef - a brand new character (Ike from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance), stage (Castle Siege), and item (Pitfall) have been revealed!

NEW CHARACTER - Ike

Ike first appeared in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (my favorite tactical rpg) for the Gamecube. He's quite similar to Marth and Roy, and while he deserves to be in the game, I kind of hoped a more uniqe character from the series would also be added as well (Titania, anyone?). None-the-less, he's a great addition to the series.

STAGE - Castle Siege

Ohhh, another Fire Emblem update update, though rather than being a stage (or castle) from any of the games, it's just taken from the Fire Emblem universe. It starts out ontop of the castle, and after a while the roof while colapse, thus dropping everyone inside of it. Soon later, you'll drop in the basement, though the director didn't reveal what it looked like deep down under there.

ITEM - Pitfall

The Pitfall was a prankster's item from the Animal Crossinig series. If someone walked over a burried Pitfall, they would then get sucked into the ground, and would then have to wiggle their way out. In Brawl, the item will do the same thing, how ever, once your opponents are burried half way in the ground, you'll be able to get up close and smash them with all you've got!

I'm back.

After about 2 and a half days, I'm finaly back after not having any access to the internet. Why it may take awhile, I'll cover all the news I can!
