World of Warcraft now has over 9 million subscribers!

Blizzard has just announced that their highly popular World of Warcraft series now has over 9 million users. The game is obviously very successful - First people buy the games, the game expansions, which costs a hefty price, then they'll have to go and pay $15 to go online, and then after that the hardcore will go as far as to buy the collectible merchandise, including the upcoming DC Comics series.
