While it was pretty much already confirmed a while back, Warner Bros. never officially announced it. Well, now they have, and the apparently already made script is being greatly praised by the studio. The company says that they want the film to be a launching point for The Flash, The Green Lantern (my favorite), Wonder Woman, and Aquaman.
They hope to get a summer 2009 release date.

Hal Jordan for Green Lantern. Here's why. When you spin it off to a seperate movie, it has to be Hal. The GL world revolves around him dead or alive.
