More information on the single player story has been released as well as four images and a video! The video shows two cameo appeareances of some classic characters - R.O.B. and Petey Piranha, the former from the classic NES days and the latter a boss from multiple Mario games, the first game being Super Mario Sunshine. Niether appear to be playable characters, and Petey seems to be a boss seeing that he captures Princess Peach and Zelda, and shoots Mario miles away, leaving only Kirby to defeat him.
A new enemy character was also shown, who's name is the Ancient Minister. In the video he drops a bomb which will apparently cut part of the world away and send it into subspace. The only way to detonate the bomb is to have two R.O.B.s on each side of the bomb, where they'll then open the sucker up.
