Marvel Characters - The Hulk

Real name - Bruce Banner
First appearance - Incredible Hulk #1

As a child, Bruce Banner lived in a family with a malevolent father who killed his mother. Because of this, Bruce developed a multiple personality disorder. As an adult, the government took in Bruce so that he could create weapons.

While serving the government, he created a bomb called the Gamma Bomb. On testing day, a teenager named Rick Jones went onto the site after being dared, not knowing that the bomb was going to go off. In act of heroism and bravery, Bruce raced and got Rick to saftey, only to be exposed to the bomb, which shot gamma radiation into every atom in his body.

He somehow made it out alive, probably because he wasn't close enough to be fully effected by its true power. Despite being in pain, the doctors found nothing wrong with him, and he was deemed alright - thought what they didn't know is that the most powerful and ultimately dangerous creature on the planet was just waiting to be released.

This creature could only be released when Banner felt rage or hate toward anything. The beat he would transform into, which was called the Hulk, is virtually indestructible, being able to survive almost anything that gets shot at him, including nuclear bombs. He is also one of the strongest living things - In one issue of Secret Wars, he was reported to hold up onne hundred and fifty billion (yes, I said BILLION, not million) tons, and was also able to smash right through an asteroid which was coming straight toward earth.

However, despite being considered a hero sometimes, he is also noted as being a villain - When Banner turns into the Hulk, he almost becomes a different being - The Hulk is incredibly stupid and has no real control over what he does, and has often times killed hundreds of people...

Recently, a team of super heroes shot Banner into space. The spaceship crashed onto a planet and killed millions of alien beings. The Hulk became extremeley angry and more powerful then ever, and also obtained the ability to think as Bruce does, thus having full control over his actions, and thus would be guilty over the damage he has caused.
