Nintendo Characters - Luigi

Luigi is Mario's twin brother who first appeared alongside his more famous and well known bro in Mario Bros. Way back then he was nearly identical to him, other than a slight change of clothing - While Mario wore blue and red, Luigi wore green and brown (currently, however, he wears green and blue). In today's design, Luigi is thinner, taller, and his mustache is considerably different. He's also noted as being able to jump higher, though once he lands, he'll slide quite a bit.

Compared to Mario, Luigi is more cowardly, though when danger calls, Luigi will always, or atleast most of the times be there, even when his brother's not able to be. While Mario is greatly known throughout the Mushroom Kingdom and its surrounding areas, Luigi is often times forgotten by the residents, and since they forget his name quite a bit, they'll sometimes just call him "green (something)". Oddly, in the game Mario Party, they note that Luigi is actualy smarter than Mario... though it's quite obvious that he's not as courageous.

His powers are similar to Mario's, though he does have some exclusives. As aforementioned, he's able to jump notably higher than his brother, and in some games he'll be able to stay in the air for a while by rapidly kicking his feet. However, he's still not been able to learn some of the brilliant talents that Mario's been able to, such as wall jumping.

On his adventure to the BeanBean Kingdom, Luigi learned how to produce and control electricity, which he used against his opponents to save the land. And in Super Mario 64 DS, he's learned how to tearn invisible, allowing him to walk through cages and the such.
