Nintendo Characters - Wario

Wario is considered as Mario's doppleganger and, in the early 90's, an antagonist. However, as his popularity grew, he started to become more of a greedy person, who has a lust for money and nothing else. While it can be accepted that he's not exaclty a hero in the ranks of Mario or Link, he has generally stopped being a villain, and on some occasions have saved people.

The arrogant chubby man sees the worst in everyone other than himself, and, as aforementioned, he is a very greedy person who'll do anything to obtain it. He is an absolute glutton, and he craves garlic and anything sweat, and often times has to go to the dentist because of extreme pain in his teeth.

While it was, for many years, thought that Wario's only friend was the mysteroius Waluigi, it was revealed in WarioWare that he had plenty of them, though, as expected, he still put money first. In the series, he promised everyone plenty of money if they helped him out with his new game, and once it was finished, he took all the money and went on a rocekt ship, which ultimately broke down and fell into the ocean.
