Kirby is an 8 inch pink, living ball who has the ability to suck in enemies and steal their abilities. Hard to imagine that this is one of the more popular Nintendo characters, though the fact is, this lovable protagonist has enjoyable games that, while more than often aren't entirely hard, are a bunch of fun. Like Yoshi, Kirby craves food, though he also apparently loves to sleep as well. He'll eat almost anything that can fit in his body, and while that not only reverses his famishment, it also will, if desired, give him an awesome ability that the victim was able to perform. For example, if you chomp on an opponent who wields a sword, Kirby will turn into a master swordsmen.
Even though he'll likely eat anything, his favorite food is a fresh tomato, which not only tastes delish in his opinion, though will also give some of his presious life back.
While his past is unexplained, it is known that Kirby curtainly considers Dream Land, where most, if not all of his games take place, his home world. Dream Land, which is a country on Pop Star, is often threatend by evil forces, most notably the evil antagonist of the series - King Dedede.

The following is a list of abilities that can be obtained via sucking in a nasty critter...
*Animal - Allows Kirby to claw at enemies and crawl through soft dirt.
*Ball - The pink protagonist will turn into, (you guessed it) a ball, and will be able to jump around the screen.
