Deoxys has just been announced as a new Pokeball character. The Pokemon is a popular and legendary species from the Generation III games, and was only obtainable through special events from what I remember.
In Brawl, it appears that it will use the attack Hyper Beam (which happens to be relatively weak in the video games) after it shortly floats up in the air.
